  • If bloody wars suit you, then the title World War One will be a pleasant experience. Ascaron Entertainment and AGEOD are releasing this turn based strategy game in November of 2008. The two companies aim to make the game as historically accurate as possible; players get to control six nations in order to restore calm and peace in Europe.

     

    Kitchener, Joffre, Luddendorf, Clemenceau, Czar Nicholas II or Enver Pasha are the six possible characters players can be. Whether you use force, persuasion or peace, you need to settle the tense situation in Europe. You will command armies and fleets; your will is their command on both land and sea.

     

    Although high school history classes have proved otherwise, WWI was a serious war that you will enjoy taking part in. Not only must you command your soldiers, but political gum-flapping is a must as well. Control the Press, manage public opinion, build morale or obliterate enemy morale.

     

    Turn based strategy is fun... but it is even more enjoyable when you know you control the fate of the modern world.
