  The Sims 3 is now not just about locking your child Sim into a room with only a toilet and letting is suffer; your Sims are now completely customizable!

  You can choose up to five personality traits for your Sims out of 60 to choose from. The brand-new, goal-oriented game play lets you choose long- or short-term objective goals for your Sims so that you're actually aiming towards a goal instead of mindless gameplay.

  So, to summarize:

  -Customize the ultimate Sim by choosing up to five traits from more than 60; you can also choose numerous body characteristics in the Create-a-Sim feature. Your Sims body type, facial features, and hairstyles are completely customizable, but that is only the beginning. Want a Sim the looks like Scarlett Johansson? Well if you have enough patience, it can be a reality.

  -As with the last one, you can control what your Sim will "grow up to be." Only now, there are some better professions and you get a little more say in what they do. I really hope there is a "Slutty Pirate" or "High Class Hooker" profession.

  -You can customize everything in the Sims 3 from clothing to houses to pets to furniture. By changing the patterns and colors of your environment, you can make it look exactly like the house you live in now! Only minus the questionable family values!

  February '09 is going to be a great time for shunning family members and living a fake life through the Sims 3.
