The Nintendo DSi Information

So what is the DSi? (Aside from it looking like a typo, that is.)

So the Nintendo DS handheld will be getting a hardware facelift. The "new" Nintendo DSi will have a slimmed down case, two bigger screens, two cameras, a new image player and a new music player.

Bad news: the Game Boy Advance card slot will be no more. (*cough mistake cough*). Nintendo will be replacing it with an SD memory slot. So now kiddies will be storing music, images, and downloadable content but won't be able to play the 30 games they already own for Game Boy Advance? Yes, great idea.

The down and dirty:

-2.6mm thinner than the DS Lite
-the screens are larger at 3.25 inches
-there will be a 3-megapixel camera on the exterior of the case and a lower-resolution camera on the interior hinge
-you can store images and music stored to SD card
-a new Internet browser will be on the DSi as well
