GameRecoil -> -> Tabula Rasa is Now Free to Play

  The Sci-Fi MMORPG Tabula Rasa is circling the drain... but in order to clean its slate and make amends for sucking in the gaming world, it will be made free-to-play until February 28, 2009. On that date, the servers will implode and the game will be no more.

  Before, NCSoft had announced the game would be free-to-play beginning Jan. 10, but perhaps because of the Christmas spirit epidemic, they are not sticking to that date. New players can go to the Tabula Rasa support site and request a serial code to download the game via FTP.

  If you played the game before but have since abandoned it, you can go to PlayNC.com and reactivate your account. Although credit card numbers will have to be entered into the system, it won't actually charge you for playing.

  This Christmas present is a little bittersweet; yes, you will be able to play a new game for 2 months but I hope to God you don't like it, because after that you're screwed.
