GameRecoil -> -> Star Trek Online with Cryptic Studios

  Although there has been some mystery behind the development of Star Trek Online, fans should worry no more. It has been confirmed that Cryptic Studios has acquired the rights for every Trekkie's dream, Star Trek Online. There has been some screenshots of the game floating around on the interweb, but no gameplay footage. Said recording would most likely be debuted at the Star Trek Convention in Los Vegas this year.

   

  If you are not geeky enough to attend the actual convention yourself, there will be a webcast live and can be viewed on the game's official site on August 10^th (www.startrekonline.com).

   

  Cryptic Studios will have its hands full, now that it added the Star Trek MMOG along with the Champions online MMOG it already has in the development stages. Even though the confirmation of Star Trek Online's existence is comforting, no news has surfaced yet regarding any release date or platforms.
