  Gamers who are hardcore probably don't give the Wii the time of day. It's true that the Nintendo console sticks to games that are cute and/or not filled with blood (most of the time). The WiiWare titles usually follow along in the same trend and can be a little boring. But in the spirit of the holidays, I think we should give the Wii a chance.

  The official website for Evasive Space has been launched at www.evasivespace.com; Evasive Space is a top-down space adventure title for WiiWare. You'll use your Wiimote to pilot Konki through deep space (albeit a bright version of deep space) and fight baddies. Now it might not be the most challenging game you'll play all year, but it does look neat for WiiWare.

  Game features:

  You'll guide Konki through 20 different space time and collection based missions in 4 different worlds

  Wave your arms around to control Konki with the Wiimote.

  Pick up items and ship upgrades

  Six different four person multiplayer matches locally on your home console

  Compete for best times on the Nintendo online leaderboards.
