GameRecoil -> -> RB2 Drums Have a Mysterious Lonely Hole

  My Rock Band 2 drum set has not all of its holes filled. Surprisingly, I'm not happy about this. The space for a jack in between the orange kick pedal and the multicolored pads  is staring at me like an ungodly, demonic eye. WHAT ARE YOU?

  Harmonix has lied and omitted a little regarding the little, lonely hole. At first they explained it was an expansion port for a second kick pedal...but that apparently just isn't true. What a tease you are, Harmonix. According to a review guide sent to OXM UK, "It was stated in prior interviews/demos that this input was a jack for the second kick pedal, which is not the case."

  The lies and confusion go on to say that Harmonix "has not revealed the functionality for this input," and said functionality "be announced at a later date, along with further details for double-kick functionality."

  So here is a timeline of the lonely hole:

  1. It is a port for a second kick pedal.

  2. It is not.

  3. It is a port for something, but I'm not telling you what.

  4. It will be a port for something special, maybe a kick pedal, maybe not. Haven't decided.
