GameRecoil -> -> Nintendo Cracks Down on Piracy

  This year alone, Nintendo has seized almost 30,000 piracy-related units that were infringing upon their company copyrights. Nintendo DS piracy has been an ever increasing trend all over the world.

   

  The DS R4 cartridge is a game copying device that is available to the masses. It is available for purchase over the internet and it allows a hacked code to be transferred onto the DS handheld and then be played via cartridge and memory card.

   

  

   

  Nintendo has been cracking down in countries such as Belgium, China, Denmark, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Korea, Netherlands, Spain, UK and the US.

   

  Unless the spread of this illegal device is stopped, it could hinder the growth of many parts of the gaming industry. Legal measures need to be taken against illegal copying devices such as the R4 cartridge.
