    Oh shit son, we're getting some new digs for our Xbox Live personas. Microsoft will be releasing the upgraded Dashboard tomorrow, packed with the streaming-service from the movie rental company Netflix. With this new experience, you'll be able to instantly watch thousands of movies and television shows via Netflix and your Xbox Live gold subscriptions. No longer will you even have to drag yourself to a mailbox and out into the sunlight to get DVDs!



    But, there is a fly in the ointment, as we say in the girl's locker room.

     

    In the grand old list of Netflix movies there tends to be some "Unavailable on Xbox" labels cropping up. What!? I'm paying less than $10 a month on my Gold subscription. I expect results.

     

    Apparently Sony-owned Columbia Pictures has gone all punk-ass on us and their movies are unavailable on Xbox. Is this a trick? A glitch? I hope to God it is because some of my favorite movies are Columbia Picture movies.

     

    I guess the only thing I can do is cross my fingers and occupy myself with creating my avatar for a few hours.
