NCAA Football 09 Patch 1 & 2

  • FB

EA Sports recently made the NCAA Football 09 patch 1.1 available.  Although no one short of the CEO of EA knew what it was for, finally we figured out that it was needed so that players could fully editing their rosters while playing the game.

Recently, from the murky depths of the Internet, news of a second patch being made has surfaced. The second patch should be released in a few weeks and it will cover a long (stated) list of problems.

Now, if only game developers could make a game that didn't have waves and waves of bugs; that's the world I want to live in some day.

    Patch # 2 fixes/adds:

Ability to view your Online Dynasty HQ through EA Sports World (Online)

                      Improved online performance (Online)

Fixed a couple recruiting exploits (Dynasty)

                      Faster simming between weeks (Dynasty)

The "All" option will now only work when the user is the home team (Custom Stadium sounds)

                      Improved coverage on kicks (Gameplay)

Hook Zones depth keeps defenders in their zones (Gameplay)

Fixed an issue with the Strafe Catch (Gameplay)

Allow fumbles to occur when diving (Gameplay)

                      WR screen routes improved (Gameplay)

                      Sliders will now work correctly

An issue with missing stats after simming has been fixed

Ball carrier will no longer run out of bounds when changing hands and heading towards the sidelines

Fixed an exploit that allowed the slot receiver to burn the safeties in a prevent defense

Fixed a bug where the ball would hit the cross bar, drop through, and not be counted

Fixed a bug that would prevent Hot Routes from working
