  • For those of you that don't know, a theremin is a musical instrument that is played by adjusting the proximity of your hands to two different antennae. It was created a long time ago about some Russian with the last name of Theremin and that's all you really need to know regarding the history. Here is a picture to get the idea.

    Now, I have something really cool to tell you. Some guy named Ken Moore made his Wiimote into a theremin. It is by far the most badass hack I have ever seen. Who cares about console case mods and whatnot... this man can play music. With his Wiimote and nothing else.

    Sidenote: I have no idea if this really sounds like the Star Trek theme and YES, it does look like he is fingerbanging the air.
