Lord of the Rings Social Networking Site |

Are you ashamed of how much time you spend role playing and constantly being immersed in the world of fantasy? Do you feel left out on social networks like Facebook and MySpace, where hot or questionably hot people post drunk pictures of themselves? Well, fret no more!
At the Tokyo Game Show, it was announced that MMOGs were going to take advantage of social networking. Hopefully by doing this, MMOs will start reaching more people. Not only that, but the integration of social networks would help developers and publishers advertise for their games, let gamers become more involved in role-playing, and much more.
The Lord of the Rings Online is going to be the first game-based social networking site launched later this year, while other games such as Dungeons & Dragons Online and Asheron's Call, will get their own sites later.
