GameRecoil -> -> Legendary Pictures Helping Gears of War

  Although other games (like God of War) are being made into big screen movies, the game-to-film transition is the most exciting for the Gears of War movie. The planning for the GoW movie is moving along pretty smoothly and hasn't hit any major hitches yet, like most game-movies do (ie, the Halo movie). The Gears of War movie has just recently gained a partner that will assist in the development of the movie. Legendary Pictures is going to cofinance and coproduce the film. Although there is no release date for the movie, things are looking good.

   

   

   

  If you need any hint as to what Gears of War will be like, just take a look at the recent blockbusters Legendary Pictures had a hand in. Both Batman Begins and 300 were made possible by Legendary Pictures. There is even a rumor of Legendary Pictures lending a helping hand to Activision Blizzard's MMORPG, World of Warcraft.

   

  Gears of War fans have a lot of things to be happy about, now. The movie is making very good progress and has the money it needs, plus Gears of War 2 should be coming out in the fall. What happy, bloody days!
