Left 4 Dead 2 Be Delayed |
![]() |

It is in no one's best interest for a zombie apocalypse to go down, but it would be a great thing to see Valve and Turtle Rock Studios' Left 4 Dead released. All of the horrific details that accompany a zombie outbreak (family members killing each other, dead puppies, the destruction of economies, et cetera) can be safely enjoyed via your console with Left 4 Dead. However, if it gets delayed then it enjoying it will be problematic.
The survival horror shooter, which hordes of people are moaning for, has been delayed. Left 4 Dead is schedule to ship to the Xbox360 and PC on November 20, 2008. For those of you who cannot compute anything beyond "2+2=4", that means Left 4 Dead has been delayed 2 weeks. There is some crappy, emotional reason for it; November 20, 2008 will be the 10th anniversary of Valve's release of Half-Life. I'm sure Gordon Freeman will be appreciative of it, but the gaming world is impatient and moody.
The Left 4 Dead goodness you can expect to see consists of cooperative play where gamers must work together to blow the brains out of as many zombies as they can. Valve's Source engine is going to power the entire operation. Along with a four-player co-op, the game is also going to include a competitive play mode. "Play as zombie or zombies' victim and try to survive" is the basic concept.
So in summary- two more weeks of waiting for the bloodshed.
