GameRecoil -> -> Knights of the Old Republic Going MMOG

  This story was supposed be a leak… unfortunately the information has already made its rounds. The news, however, is still good! EA is planning to make a big move to end up in the MMOG market in conjunction with BioWare to make the Knights of the Old Republic MMOG. Lucas Arts fans can start rejoicing.
  
  Although EA has other projects going on, this is by far generating the most interest. Executives believe that this is one of the most complex and interesting MMOs to be in development. But how will this affect the other Star Wars games that are available already? Back in 2003 Sony created Star Wars Galaxies, which is a Star Wars themed MMOG. It’s quite possible that whenever the KOTOR MMOG is released that it will be the death of all other Star Wars based games out there, including the lackluster Star Wars Galaxies.
  
  Although Knights of the Old Republic was a stand-alone RPG, it will surely be accepted by all as an MMOG. May the force be with you….geeks.
