  It is a well known fact that 75% of America's youth are indoors this summer wailing away on their very own Rock Band drum sets, trying to get into the virtual pants of virtual groupies. One of the downsides to this, though, is that carving out a path to vitual stardom is expensive from the get-go. Many eager Rock Band fledglings coughed up an entire $180 for the original package. Now Ion has a specialized drum set for the hard core rockers out there- the Drum Rocker.
  
  For the Deluxe Drum Rocker controller runs about $299.99 plus tax, plus your dignity. Pre-order is only available for the Xbox 360 flavor at the moment, but PS3 and Wii sets should be soon to follow. Some of you may have to take a couple extra shifts at Papa John's to afford this baby, but rest assured it is well worth the money. The Deluxe Drum Rocker has highly durable drum pads that are also velocitiy sensitive so that you can keep a very steady beat. It also includes a very realistic feeling metal kick pedal as well as two adjustable cymbals.
