Harmonix Slashes Price of Original Rock Band

Today, Harmonix got into the true spirit of Christmas the bad economy. They are dropping the price of the original Rock Band Special Edition (which game disc, microphone, guitar, and drum set). Now, the Wii and PlayStation 2 versions are now $99.99 and the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 editions are $139.99. What a deal!

All of the instruments are forward-compatible with Rock Band 2. Not only that, but for the Xbox360 and PS3, 55 of the original 58 Rock Band songs can be imported to use in Rock Band 2. How sweet is that?
