Halo Wars Will Be Available in 2009

Halo Wars is a strategic game that is based upon (by far) the best series in the history of video games. It is set in a time before the Master Chief was unthawed and ready to kick ass. The long years of the war between the humans and the Covenant are going to be played out by eager fanboys in the near future... but how near is it?

Unfortunately, Halo Wars has been pushed back into 2009; hopefully for the first quarter in 09 unless there are some other unexpected delays. Ensemble Studios is taking their good time cranking the game out but it will be worth it in the end. The screenshots are amazing; the graphics are crisp, clean and beautiful. Halo Wars is going to be exclusively for the Xbox360 and although not every casual Halo fan will love it, it will be a nice change to play a new Halo game and NOT argue about how much it sucks compared to the first.
