    The new Bungie project formerly dubbed Halo 3: Recon is now officially called something else. The title formerly known as Halo 3: Recon can now be referred to as Halo 3: ODST. The ODST stands for "Orbital Drop Shock Troopers," which makes sense because that is who you're going to be playing as for the majority of the game instead of Master Chief.



    I think that Bungie wanted to try and separate itself from the other line of the Halo franchise and the acronym is confusing enough just to make gamers think that perhaps their favorite Spartan isn't in the game. And he isn't.

     

    ODST FTW!
