Final Fantasy XIII Coming to the Xbox360

  • It is a well known fact that if a gamer is looking to play an RPG as a suspiciously feminine male character they should turn to the PS2/PS3 Final Fantasy series. For years, Square Enix has been delighting gamers with colorful stories, interesting graphics, sexuall ambiguous characters, and mediocre voice acting. All of this fun and more has been exclusively available to Sony Playstation owners (or maybe even the odd PC gamer)- but not anymore!

At E3, Microsoft anounced at a press briefing that Final Fantasy XIII is being developed for the Xbox360. Fanboys can be heard cheering around the world! Not only is it being developed for the Xbox360, it is going to be released on the same day as the PS3 version. Although the date isn't nailed down yet, this is very good news. On the note of dates, Square Enix boss Yoichi Wada anounced the Xbox 360 release of Last Remnant in all regions. The game will ship in North America on September 2, Europe and the UK on September 5, and Japan and Asia on September 11.

Another good year of news at E3!
