The Nintendo Wii has been a popular console recently for horror titles; Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles, Fatal Frame 4, and Resident Evil 4 just to name a few. Now Deep Silver is announcing a survival-horror game that will be exclusive for the Wii and will be set in the Himalayas. The worldwide release is expected in 2009.
The game will be set in the 1980s in the treacherous cliffs of the Himalayan Mountains. The game follows a mountain climber who is searching for his lost brother. The higher he climbs, the more cursed the area becomes. All of the souls of the people who died in the area are stuck there in the Shadow World. Visions, ghosts, ghouls, demons and monsters will stand in between him and his brother, who isn't known to be alive or dead.

The game will be breathtakingly beautiful on the Wii console. From every level in the Himalayas, players can see the where they have been and where they will be. The expansive area makes gameplay more frightening and suffocating.
Players will take full advantage of the Wiimote with the gesture-based fighting style in the game. You will have to look around, sense the environment, climb and fight enemies by moving the Wiimote.
Cursed Mountain will create a terrifying experience for Wii fans; for more information about the game, visit http://cursedmountain.deepsilver.com.
