  • If you're into the gory goodness that only Dead Space can provide, check out the Dead Space comic made by Image Comics and Newsarama. This is the first story in the six-part series; all of the events take place before the events of the video game, where the protagonist is stuck on the USG Ishimura.  takes place prior to the events of the video game on the USG Ishimura. If you haven't played the game yet and do NOT want to see any spoilers, I don't suggest reading the online comic just yet. If you're interested enough, the comics is available in a collectable hardcover edition.
